We know frontline staff are working tirelessly to keep them engaged and connected with people they care about. But despite everyone’s best efforts, the pandemic is taking a toll on mental health, and increasing depression and anxiety. Loneliness and depression have a profound negative impact on both quality of life and physical health and can lead to serious health challenges, such as increased risk for dementia, heart disease, and stroke.
