Consonus Pharmacy is honored to dispense the COVID-19 vaccine to the first long term care facilities in Oregon. The first senior to receive the life-saving vaccine is Ed Johann, a resident at a Marquis Companies facility. The shot culminated with a round of applause full of optimism and hope. Phil Fogg, CEO of Consonus Healthcare and Marquis Companies shares his thoughts on this momentous day, “I think the vaccine is the first step in reconnecting our families with the residents.” While we understand this doesn’t change stringent infection control and visitation protocols in senior care facilities around the nation, we know it is the first step on the road to recovery.
