Parkinson: Naysayers Were Wrong – The Sector is Recovering

At the 73rd Annual American Healthcare Association (AHCA) and National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL) convention, providers are optimistic about the future and road ahead.

With current challenges in staffing, and changes expected to staffing minimums in 2023 from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, providers will need to double down on connecting their open roles to finding purpose in the long-term care profession.

AHCA Board Chair Phil Fogg Jr., President and CEO of Consonus Healthcare and Marquis Companies, shared his expertise and insights as a fourth-generation family operator during the AHCA/NCAL convention, “Our future is brighter than today. If we work together, we will get through this stronger than when we went in.”
