Tami Laflen

Tami Laflen has served the long-term care profession for more than 20 years, including 12 years of pharmacy experience. A Certified Public Accountant and business administration graduate of Texas A & M University, her career began as an audit senior with the accounting firm Arthur Andersen, where she focused primarily on the manufacturing and health care industries.

As Vice-President of Finance for Consonus Pharmacy Services since 2004, she oversees all accounting and billing functions, including PDP contracting, prescription billing/reimbursement and financial reporting. Additional responsibilities include economic forecasting and modeling, assessing organizational performance and developing recommendations for financial improvement.

Before joining Consonus, Tami worked as Controller and Chief Financial Officer for all divisions of Prestige Care, Inc., a long-term care company that at the time had annual revenues of $100 million. She has also served as Director of Financial Reporting and Analysis for Spectrum Healthcare Resources, Inc., one of the largest providers of physicians, clinical personnel and management services to military treatment facilities nationwide.

After more than two decades in long-term care, Tami enjoys navigating the ever-growing complexities of pharmacy and health care, and appreciates the Consonus focus on cutting-edge technology and patient safety. Outside the office, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and son.
