The Hill reports, “Americans living in nursing homes during the last several months face the greatest health challenges residents of these facilities have ever experienced.” This refers to residents in senior care facilities, focused on recovery and rehabilitation, sometimes after battling COVID-19. We know residents who are recovering from COVID-19 benefit from rehabilitation services. We’ve seen this recovery take place in one of our customer facilities in Chico, CA. Yet CMS is proposing Medicare cuts that would potentially deprive residents of a full recovery.
