David R. Lewis, President
With almost 25 years in the pharmacy and healthcare business, David's had plenty of experience growing long-term care pharmacies - in one case growing Evergreen Pharmaceutical from 8,000 prescriptions per month to 60,000.
Since 2000, David has been leading the Consonus Rehab and Pharmacy business units, notably helping to develop the Rehab division in California and growing it from $0 in revenue to over $1 million a month.
He's extremely proud of the "intentional culture" created at Consonus, with staff members who are passionate about what they do, and who provide consistently extraordinary service to their customers.
David has been married to his wife Susan for 30 years, and has three children: James, Kate and Nicholas. When he gets a free moment, he loves spending time with his family and woodworking.
Guy Cowart, Vice President of Rehab Services
Guy joined the company in April of 2001 to establish a presence in California and has quickly risen to the challenge of his newest role in the company, Vice President of Rehab Operations.
Prior to 2001, he worked for Vencare Rehab in business development, operations and as Western Region Director. In his previous work, Guy learned the importance of retaining employees and training them well, a lesson he continues to believe is the key to a strong organization.
A dedicated foodie and wine aficionado, Guy is just as enthusiastic about his play as his work-guiding his friends through beautiful Napa Valley vineyards or San Francisco restaurants when he's not at his desk.
Charles Bloom, Vice President, Marketing
Charles started in 1994 with Consonus’ sister company where he worked in Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living facilities. While working in that capacity, Charles gained a deeper understanding of the complexities of rehab program management as well as creating strong connections with the company's vendor partners and what they seek in long term care provider relationships.
He believes the best thing about the company is its consistent excellence - in their employees, their work, and the degree of support the staff gives to each other and to their clients.
When Charles isn't working, you can find him all over the globe. He's traveled to over 30 countries in five continents so far, and he's just getting started.
Steve Hood, Vice President of Rehab Sales
Steve Hood has been in the healthcare business for over 20 years, and has worked hard to build strong relationships with his providers and clients (or, as he refers to them, friends).
Steve has served two terms as an associate board member for the Oregon Health Care Association as well as two terms on the Northwest Healthcare Roundtable.
Steve's pretty serious about getting the job done at Consonus, but when he's not at a trade show or visiting clients you can find him relaxing in Central Oregon on Lake Billy Chinook with his wife and three children. (Bonus little-known fact about Steve: he can ride a unicycle!)
Eric Lintner, General Manager, OR
Eric graduated first in his pharmacy school class in 1981. That means he’s a seasoned veteran! Since joining Consonus in 2004 as the Pharmacy Director, Eric has transitioned into the General Manager role. He’s been an IV pharmacist in the hospital setting and moved up to managing the pharmacy departments in a couple of hospitals. He has also started a home infusion business and two long term care pharmacies. Prior to coming back to long term care, Eric and a partner opened and operated a retail pharmacy in Wilsonville, Oregon. He has done business consulting for two companies wanting to start long term care pharmacies and has been an independent consultant pharmacist to multiple long term care facilities. Eric makes his home in Wilsonville with his (veterinarian) wife, three kids and unknown number of pets. If he comes in a little late some days, you may find him out on the Willamette River water skiing.
Teri Ferreira, General Manager, WA
Teri Ferreira joined Consonus in 2007 as the General Manager of the Washington Long-Term Care Pharmacy. Teri comes to Consonus with over ten years experience in long-term care pharmacy management, and is the immediate past president of the Washington State Pharmacy Association. In addition to day-to-day management of the pharmacy, Terri is steering a dynamic paperless environment which brings electronic medical records (EMR), an increased benefit to Consonus customers.
The great thing about Teri is that in addition to her extensive knowledge in the field of pharmacy, she is very approachable, out-going, and customer service oriented. She’s just fun to be around!
In her free time, Teri can be found spending time with her kids – at sporting events, camping and traveling.
Jim Santa, General Manager, CA
Jim joined the company in 2009 as the Director of Pharmacy in California. Jim comes to Consonus with experience from all over the Nation that includes hospital work, retail, and teaching. He has a Pharm. D. degree from the University of the Pacific, he taught at the University of Northern Colorado, and he now resides in Sutter, CA with his wife.
Jim is happily married and has three daughters, one living in Florida, and two in California. Now empty-nesters, Jim and his wife enjoy snow skiing, motorcycle riding, and traveling.
